Tonight, as I was putting Raphael to bed, I was fussing about, asking him what could help him sleep because he caught one of the bugs still going around. Half asleep, he told me,
“I just want your hug…”
I instantly zipped my mouth and enjoyed the silence and his presence.
It is amazing to be loved as you are, just because.
It is comforting to know that my mere presence is more than enough. Young as he is, he has been teaching me things I have never learnt for most of my life. I like taking note of things like this because we all can definitely learn a thing or two from our young ones.
